Remo, Compuscan’s Founder and Chief Executive Officer, is closely involved in the daily management of the Group. He plays an active role in the design and development of new solutions and services, ensuring that the best solution is in place for each client.
Remo draws on his deep knowledge of the micro finance sector and other key industries to spearhead the implementation of strategic plans on behalf of Compuscan’s clients.
Recognised as a leader in the industry, Remo has also been instrumental in setting up new data sharing initiatives in the African countries where Compuscan operates.
Thabo has over 15 years’ experience in the credit industry; his skills include leadership, strategy, management consulting, recruitment and mentoring. Before joining Compuscan, Thabo worked for the Standard Bank Group for five years and held various senior management positions in the credit and collections strategy areas.
Thabo has a deep entrepreneurial spirit and was the co-founder of Find Inspired Talent and a co-foundner and Director at Nimble Collections Services. He was formerly the Financial Director of Experian South Africa and the Management Accountant for Nampak. Thabo holds a B.Com in Accounting and Economics from the University of Cape Town.
Pieter is one of the founding members of Scoresharp, a specialised credit risk management consultancy, which has been part of the Compuscan Group of companies since 2011. As Head of Decision Analytics, he is responsible for unlocking the value of our credit services data assets and other data sources by applying analytical insight, scoring, and software solutions to convert data into business solutions.
With more than 20 years’ experience in the industry, he has extensive knowledge in scorecard development, risk management software applications, SAS, profitability modelling, pricing, Basel II, and portfolio tracking.
Prior to founding Scoresharp, Pieter spent several years at Nedbank where he was recognised with the CEO Award in 2005. Pieter holds an MBA from Bond University and a BSc Degree in Mathematics & Mechanical Engineering.
Frank Lenisa joined the Compuscan team in 1996 and has been closely involved in the strategic management of the company as it gained a significant position in the industry and has continued to expand its presence in the marketplace.
As Chief Marketing Officer, Frank is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the group’s marketing functions. He is also involved in the general management of the company by contributing to the strategic planning and business development.
Frank Lenisa holds a degree of Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Oxford Brooks University.
As the Head of Loyalty and Rewards, Anita enables clients to achieve more than they think possible by helping them to drive their strategic growth initiatives through the optimisation of customer loyalty. Directing the various lines of business under her leadership to design, implement and monitor rewards programmes and initiatives, she thrives on realising the intended results.
With close to 20 years’ experience delivering customer-oriented solutions across the telecommunications, retail, and financial services industries, Anita’s strengths are grounded in her strategic, analytical and relationship skills.
Some of Anita’s proudest achievements include designing and implementing the UCount rewards programme for Standard Bank, implementing the Absa Rewards Bank Funded Rewards programme, rebranding Altech Autopage Cellular Retail, and implementing Cell C’s Community Chat programme.
Anton is responsible for the successful development and implementation of sales strategies. He focuses on the delivery of market-leading solutions and services in line with customers’ needs. Key to his role is developing client relationships and understanding customer trends.
A notable career highlight was Anton achieving remarkable sales targets for digital technology start-up, Hitwise, prior to it being acquired by Experian. He was also instrumental in aligning the two diverse business cultures, while maintaining the financial growth requirements during their merger.
Anton is known for his ability to develop effective solutions that help business overcome challenges and achieve better results. He has more than twenty years’ experience in the retail, digital technology, marketing and credit industries.
Cindee has more than 15 years’ experience in the education and training sector. Her experience includes skills needs analyses, workplace skills planning and implementation, and the design and development of training programmes and delivery.
Cindee’s career is underpinned by a strong educational and academic background. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Psychology, an Honours Degree in Industrial Psychology (Human Resources Development), and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration, including the completion of various leadership and management skills programmes. Cindee is also a qualified Assessor, Moderator, and Skills Development Facilitator.
Dirk started his career as a mainframe programmer where he discovered his fascination for data and analytics. After five years in programming, Dirk joined SAS South Africa for 12 years where he gained valuable insights into the power of analytics deployed on good data.
In 2009, he joined Compuscan with the belief that the company would make a mark on the industry by bringing superior analytical expertise closer to data. Dirk bridges the divide between IT and business with an expert understanding of technology and software development combined with practical business application.
Wouter heads up the sales and product development for business-to-business customers, with a focus on engagements throughout the various stages within the client life cycle.
He has more than twenty years’ experience in specialised banking, predominantly in foreign exchange, trade finance and debtor finance. Prior to this, he ran a collections and asset recovery company for six years, this has given him a deep understanding of not only credit extensions, but also collections.
